Albergo Belvedere is a hotel in Transacqua – Primiero, at the foot of the Pale di San Martino Mountains. It’s a hotel with an honest value for money, suitable for those who are looking for simple accommodation, yet well taken care of, as a starting point to discover the marvelous territory of the Primiero valley.

At Albergo Belvedere you will find warm, family-like hospitality: in fact, we like to call it home, because for our family it is just that. We like to think of welcoming our guests as the act ofopening the door to our home.

What marks us out

For us, hospitality is like opening the door of our home: in our hotel, you will find the typical welcome of family management.

We prepare our dishes with love and passion, thanks to a selection of products based on quality, in order to enhance the value of raw materials.

We take particular care of the cleanliness of our hotel, to make our guests feel at ease like at home.

Available in the Classic, Comfort and Comfort Family categories, our rooms meet the needs both of families and couples.

Our cuisine is particularly important to us and we give it a lot of care and attention. We love to enhance the products of our territory and let our guests discover new tasty pairings.

Spacious, bright and cool even during the summer, the common areas of our hotel offer the opportunity to entertain and spend time peacefully for both those seeking the company of a group and those who prefer silence or reading a good book.

A quiet corner surrounded by greenery in which to relax in the shade of trees and find relief from the summer heat: all this in our beautiful garden.

Our history

END 1800s

The tavern with accommodation “Alla Vanuia” of Bortolo Simoni, as it is reported in Cesare Battisti’s Guidebook of Primiero from 1912, is the first core of what was to become the Albergo Belvedere.

the 1930s

The preexisting building takes the name of Albergo Belvedere, with reference to the 360° panoramic view of the Pale di San Martino, Val Canali, and the Vette Feltrine mountains. By that time there was no other building around it.

THE 1940s

During this period, the roof was reconstructed and the top floor was made livable, as can be guessed from the small dormer windows visible in the photo. The traditional wooden veranda of previous years also disappears.

the 1950s

First extension of the hotel structure:
As can be seen from the photo to the side, which dates back to 1955, the rows of windows have become four instead of three.

After the Primiero flood of November 1966, the hotel was expanded a second time, doubling its volume.

Last extension of the hotel, in which the top floor was rebuilt and the roof was raised. Later, the interventions carried out in the structure only affected the interior.
